This tour will take us, together with a local guide, to discover the real Padua. We will take a walk around the city to discover its most important monuments and the most representative views. We will see Prato della Valle, the Basilica of Sant'Antonio called “The Saint”, a destination for millions of pilgrims and we will walk through the arcaded streets of the historic center. Walking along the cobblestone streets and under the medieval arcades, we will reach the beating heart of the city. We will see the ancient ghetto which, with its narrow streets and its premises, has become a meeting place for young students. We will continue to the squares, Piazza delle Erbe and Piazza della Frutta animated by the market stalls and the bustling of people. Palazzo della Ragione, the former residence of the noble family that led Padua in the 14th century, dominates these spaces and enriches them with beauty also thanks to the ancient covered market “Under the Hall” where we will conclude the tour with a “Padovan style” tasting.
