Sports & Outdoors

In the quiet countryside, beyond the rush of schedules and screens, there’s a place where animals roam freely and people are invited to slow down, breathe deeply, and listen—not just with their ears, but with their whole being. This is a guided walk through a family-run farm where rescued animals live peacefully in open spaces, and nature grows wild and honest. Here, you’ll meet curious goats, gentle ponies, proud peacocks, clucking hens, rabbits, pigs, cows, and even shy deer or foxes that sometimes choose to appear. Many of these animals carry a past: stories of abandonment, illness, or mistreatment. This experience gives you the rare opportunity to not just see them—but to touch, connect, and understand.Led by the farm’s founder—along with his wife, a veterinarian, and their young daughter—this is more than a simple animal encounter. It’s an invitation to slow down and rediscover the rhythms of nature. You’ll be guided along a peaceful route where you’ll learn about the habits and lives of the animals, how they were rescued, and what it means to care for them with patience and dignity. The path winds gently through open fields and shaded woodland edges. Along the way, you’ll be introduced to the spontaneous herbs and plants that grow naturally in the area—each with a scent, a story, and a place in the ecosystem. As you walk, the experience becomes more than visual: it’s olfactory, tactile, emotional. You’ll be encouraged to smell the plants, touch the bark, feel the wind, and notice the tiny details often ignored in daily life. The walk concludes at a small wild lavender patch—a lavandeto selvatico—that bursts with seasonal color and hosts a buzzing world of bees, butterflies, and other insects. It’s a natural sanctuary, untouched and full of life. Guests are invited to pause here, take in the scents, sit with the view, and absorb the calming presence of this hidden corner of nature. This is not a theme park or petting zoo. It’s a living, breathing space where humans are guests—welcome, but never rushed. There is no hurry, no script. Only openness, kindness, and shared time with the animals and land.Whether you come alone, with friends, or as a family, this experience is designed to offer more than just an activity. It’s a few hours of quiet connection, of mindful movement, and of gentle learning. Perfect for anyone craving authenticity, care, and a reminder that nature heals when we let it.
