Guided tours

The complete descent through old Porto, from the baroque tower and tiled upper town down the granite hill to the working river and the great iron bridge. A city that wears its glory on its surfaces, in gold and glazed blue tile, but is built, always, on its river.

11 stops, about 3.3 km on foot, 1h45 at an easy pace. The route starts at Torre dos Clérigos and ends at Ponte Dom Luís I.

It is fully self-guided: no group, no guide to keep up with, and no need to arrive at a set time. Start whenever you like, pause for as long as you want, and pick it up again where you left off. Narrated stop by stop in English, in your phone's browser, with a live GPS map of the route.
