Guided tours

Discover one of Florence's most fascinating hidden traditions on an unforgettable journey through the city's historic wine windows. With more than 150 scattered throughout Florence, these tiny Renaissance openings once allowed noble families to serve wine directly to the street – and today they remain one of the city's most unique cultural treasures.

Meet your expert local guide at our office and set off on a captivating 1.5-hour walking tour through the heart of Florence. Follow a carefully curated trail of wine windows while exploring some of the city's most iconic landmarks and hidden corners. Along the way, uncover stories of powerful Florentine dynasties such as the Medici, and gain insight into the rich food and wine culture that defines Florence and Tuscany.

During the walk, stop to enjoy a glass of Tuscan wine served from an authentic historic wine window set within a Renaissance palazzo – an experience that brings centuries of Florentine tradition to life.

After the walking tour, your experience concludes with an exclusive 1-hour wine tasting and food pairing led by a local wine expert. Taste three outstanding Tuscan wines of your choice – red, white or rosé – perfectly paired with a selection of traditional Tuscan appetisers, including olives, bruschetta, salami and prosciutto.
